The Model 4040B is a versatile dual-technology sweep function generator that combines direct digital synthesis (DDS) and a low-jitter square wave generator. It generates sine, square, and triangle waveforms with high accuracy and stability, and offers output voltages from 0 to 10 Vpp into 50 ohms (up to 20 Vpp open circuit). It features linear and logarithmic sweep, AM/FM modulation, and an adjustable DC offset for signals with the proper bias level.
