The WP 140 test equipment allows you to demonstrate the fundamental principles of fatigue resistance testing, as well as the creation of a Wöhler curve. Its structure is clear and its handling is simple, which allows you to observe all the details and phases of the technical testing procedure. In the test, a simple force is applied to a rotating cylindrical specimen that is fixed at one of its ends. The load of the specimen corresponds to that of a fixed bending beam. In this sense, the specimen is subjected to an alternating bending stress and breaks after a certain number of loading cycles due to material fatigue.
