The ET 805 is designed specifically for training purposes in the field of power plant engineering with process control systems. Due to the size and complexity of the system, in many respects the operational behavior corresponds to that of real large-scale plants, allowing training as close to the real thing as possible. The plant consists of four independent modules and can therefore be flexibly adapted to the available space in the laboratory: Module A steam generator set: a one-time gas steam boiler and a downstream electric reheater generate superheated steam .
