With the IA 130 module they can be executed with a programmable controller (PLC). A PLC is, in principle, a computer adapted to the needs of industry. Its inputs and outputs are not designed for people, but for the control of machines. The interaction between the machine and the user takes place exclusively through limit switches, sensors and pushbuttons or photoelectric barriers. The front panel is designed as a breakout board where the inputs and outputs of the PLC are connected to switches and indicators using cables. PLC programming is carried out on a PC (not supplied) via a USB interface.
