ET 202 can be used to study a variety of angles of incidence and different illuminance. The pre-installed selectively coated absorber can be replaced with a simpler blackened absorber, so that comparative collector loss measurements are obtained. External heat consumers can be connected to the tank via two connectors. The trainer is equipped with sensors to detect the relevant temperatures (manifold inlet, collector outlet, ambient air and tank) and illuminance.
