INTERNAL COMBUSTION CONTROL ENGINES

The main function of the CT 400 is to make the required braking power available. The air-cooled eddy current brake serves as the braking unit. The braking torque can be finely adjusted by the excitation current. The braking torque is measured by means of the braking group with pendulum support and a force transducer. Since the brake is air-cooled, no cooling water supply or evacuation is required for the test bench. On the frame there is a stabilization tank with a suction channel for the combustion air. The amount of air sucked in is measured in the channel.
